It doesn’t necessarily have to be that way. With early detection and treatment of diabetes, you can decrease the risk of developing complications from it, particularly foot problems.
Unfortunately, many people miss the warning signs of diabetes. Acquainting yourself with the signs and symptoms of diabetes is helpful so you can take action and reduce the health risks associated with it. Here are some symptoms to be aware of…
Warning Signs of Diabetes
- Urinating often
- Feeling very thirsty
- Feeling very hungry – even though you are eating
- Extreme fatigue
- Blurry vision
- Cuts/bruises that are slow to heal
- Tingling, pain, or numbness in the hands/feet
If you are experiencing any of the above symptoms, see your doctor right away and get tested. The sooner the diagnosis, the better. Take charge of your health!
