I’d like to take some time and introduce you to my partners at West Coast Podiatry. I’m proud to work with them and together our goal is to have the best practice on the west coast of Florida with healthy and satisfied patients!
Dr. Robert Goecker received his Bachelor of Science degree from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. He then went on to graduate from College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery – University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Goecker completed a 3-year Surgical Residency at Northlake Regional Medical Center in Tucker, Georgia. He has also completed training in:
- Application of the Ilizarov Method for Trauma of the Tibia and Lower Extremities
- Arthroscopy of the Foot & Ankle Course
- Holmium / CO2 Laser Course
- Microsurgery Course
- Endoscopic Decompression of Intermetatarsal Nerve/Endoscopic Plantar Fasciotomy Course
Dr. Geocker was part of the Baja Project for Crippled Children which provides free corrective surgery and treatment for clubfoot and other disabling podiatric conditions in Mexico, El Salvador and Honduras, and lectures nationally several times a year for the renowned Podiatry Institute.
He is also known as the “doctor’s foot doctor.” When our medical colleagues need personal advice for their families, more often than not, they end up in Dr. G’s treatment chair. That’s the level of respect we all have for him.
His modesty prevents him from tooting his own horn, so I am happy to do it for him. Ask about his NCAA baseball career and how he almost ended up in the pros. It is a pleasure to have him on staff with us. Next week I will introduce you to Dr. Alissa Zdancewicz!
So if you are looking for a podiatrist in the Bradenton-Sarasota area, please schedule an appointment with one of our outstanding doctors for a thorough and professional evaluation, either in the Bradenton Podiatry office or Sarasota Podiatry office.
