Oh boy…the season hasn’t even started yet and Dallas Cowboys defensive end Demarcus Lawrence is already out for 8-10 weeks. He broke his foot and had to be helped off the field at practice on Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Todd Archer.
Evidently Lawrence and his teammate Smith had a showdown and Smith won. Lawrence’s foot lost.
Here’s the video from Vine:
Yeah, that hurt. Lawrence was the No. 34 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, and was expected to bring some much needed help to the team. The Cowboys were hoping to improve their miserable defense.
With the right care and rest, Lawrence should “be back on his feet” in no time. Here’s hoping there are no more injuries for Dallas’ defense. They’re going to need all the help they can get…
